ok i got a question that i have yet to find an answer to: why is it on tv shows they block out 'hole' if someone says asshole and 'god' if someone says goddamn?
well... they block out 'God' out of 'goddamn' in most cases, b/c religious groups have a fit when people blaspheme on regular tv. its not good for kids (as if ANYthing on tv is). i'm guessing that they block out 'hole' from 'asshole' b/c the word ass in its self is not a profanity, depending on the context used and in any case is the most socially accepted swear word. adding the word 'hole' to it creates a whole new level of filth that most tv programs don't cross into. censorship groups get tight about that kinda shit too. that answer it for ya?
